Londonderry Park Newtownards

The Londonderry Park redevelopment project comprised of a new Pavilion with offices, function and meeting rooms, 14 fully accessible changing areas including two changing rooms which meet the IFA requirements. An IFA standard referee’s room. High quality, robust finishes are used throughout. A sliding folding partition enables the function room to be subdivided for additional flexibility.

A specialist contractor installed three new 3G synthetic pitches one which meets the IFA standard for intermediate football and one which is suitable for club hockey.

Construction was planned to maintain safe access to the existing bowling green and children’s play park during the redevelopment project. Tight control of Health and Safety led to zero accidents or incidents on site during construction.
