Allen Park Golf Club and Recreation Centre

This project transformed an existing golf club into a Multi- Activity Sports Hub, expanding its facilities to appeal to a wider number of users. The project entailed construction of a new sports hall and changing rooms adjacent the operational clubhouse and refurbishment of the existing clubhouse and driving range, and associated additional car parking and siteworks.  One double and one single 3G synthetic pitch were provided, which are suitable for football, rugby and GAA.

The existing golf club was consulted widely on the improvement to their clubhouse. Changing and locker provision has been expanded, and the licensed restaurant in the club house was modernised. A state of the art driving range and golf course simulator was installed. Throughout the facility, the focus was to provide a high quality, robust finish.

This complex construction project was completed over 5 phases. Woodvale worked closely with our supply team to deliver this building on target without compromising on quality. The 3G pitches met FIFA 1 star and IRB test standards on completion. This close liaison and project planning was apparent for all phases which were delivered on time and to budget.
