Limavady Shared Education Campus – Sod Cutting Ceremony
On 21 April 2021, the Project Board, Board of Governors, Principals, Pupils and Staff of both St. Mary’s and Limavady High welcomed Education Minister Peter Weir.
Minister Weir had the privilege of cutting the first sod on the Limavady Shared Education Campus, he reflected: “The first building blocks were the school relationships. This new investment will have positive impacts for Limavady High, St Mary’s and the wider community.”
This is a special milestone on the journey towards a Shared Education Campus which has been designed by Hamilton Architects.
The scheme will be delivered in a two phased approach:
1) Single-storey Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Campus at Limavady High School (Phase1)
2) A two-storey shared Sixth Form/Careers/Drama/ Media Campus at St. Mary’s High School Limavady (Phase 2)
We look forward to working with Hamilton Architects, ESC Construction Consultants, Taylor & Boyd, Troup Bywaters + Anders, JD Mc Geown Ltd and Scott & Ewing Ltd to deliver this BIM Level 2 project.
