Elmgrove Primary School Official Opening

We were delighted to join the school community, Education Minister Paul Givan, Principal Jayne Jeffers, and project partners in celebrating the official opening of the new Elmgrove Primary School in east Belfast.
This transformative project has delivered a modern, inclusive, and inspiring environment for pupils, teachers, and the wider community—bringing together mainstream and SEN provision under one state-of-the-art campus.
From 21 classrooms and four specialist SEN rooms to a dedicated nurture space, a double nursery unit, and extensive outdoor play areas, the new school represents a significant investment in high-quality educational facilities.
The quality of the restoration skills applied throughout the project was recognised by the Construction Employers Federation, with Elmgrove Primary School named as a finalist in the Restoration Project of the Year category.
A huge thank you to the school leadership team, the Department of Education, consultants, our dedicated subcontractor and supply chain. It is a privilege to see the building open its doors to pupils and staff.
