Cathedral School in Derry to restart
The restoration of the Grade B1 listed Cathedral Primary School in London Street is restarting.
The Victorian schoolhouse, a red brick building with sandstone dressings, will provide new facilities for the whole community and be a great asset to the city.
The school retains many of its original internal features which will be sympathetically restored.
When fully restored and opened up it will provide a venue for cultural and heritage tourism and will create training, education and employment opportunities.
